Metal Gear Solid Not just my favorite Metal Gear OST, but one of my favorite video game OSTs ever. Here's my ranking (includes links to each OST listed):ġ. I think we can all agree that every Metal Gear game has an amazing soundtrack, but I'm sure that each of us might prefer one game's soundtrack over another, so I want to see how you list them going from best to worst, and your favorite and (if any) least favorite track from each of them. If someone is talking or asking about a game they haven't finished, then in that thread you should think about spoiler tags when replying to them.

Rage of light and metallite for the mix of electronic sounds. Death metal for the heavier sound but still battle and stuff. Power metal for hype quick songs about battle and fantasy sci fi. It’s a bit unique since it was written purposely for the game and the style but a bunch of genres combine to get the feeling. There’s a bunch of bands and genres that all kind of blend into what the Metal Gear Rising soundtrack is like. This band Metallite has a similar style of power metal meets electronic sounds. Sonically Rage of Light is an awesome melodic death metal band that has songs that aren’t lyrically like the metal gear rising ones but sound similar with awesome quick guitars and some synth and electronic stuff in the back. Out of the death metal bands the lyrical content and melodic style is most accessible coming from power metal, still very epic and hype but more brutal. The song is about Thor’s final battle with the world serpent at the end of the world. Twilight of the Thunder God has Growl vocals which might be hard to understand for a newcomer but a lyric video should help understand the awesomeness of it. On the heavier side of things you’ve got Amon Amarth, a melodic death metal band who’s songs revolve around Norse Mythology and battle. Sabaton is power metal that sings about real life historical wars

About as over the top as Metal Gear Rising. Gloryhammer even cornier but focused on songs following a story of a hero taking on an evil space wizard.
